Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum computing and AI-driven solutions
- Identify emerging tech trends and assess commercial viability for enterprise applications
- Secure $5M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships and grant applications
- Present technology vision to C-suite executives and board of directors quarterly
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary innovations in AR/VR and sustainable tech
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technologies and ethical innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech R&D leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech ecosystems
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Nature, Science)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, or Rust preferred)
- Validated ability to secure $1M+ in government/industry grants
