Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging technologies
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage R&D budgets and vendor partnerships for next-gen tech ecosystems
- Drive sustainability initiatives in tech development lifecycle
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within tech/automotive/healthcare
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, SWOT)
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D budgets
