Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Systems: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable, high-performance software architectures capable of supporting futuristic AI workloads and quantum computing integrations.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research projects focused on emerging technologies, specifically generative AI evolution and edge computing protocols.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate visionary 2026 roadmaps into actionable technical blueprints.
- Security & Compliance: Establish rigorous security frameworks to protect proprietary data in decentralized network environments.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and select cutting-edge hardware and software vendors that align with our long-term strategic vision.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a senior architecture or lead engineering role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, Go, or Rust, with proven experience in cloud-native architectures (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Emerging Tech Knowledge: Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning pipelines, and the principles of Quantum Computing.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with elegant, scalable solutions.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in our San Francisco headquarters.
