Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies with disruptive potential by 2026, including quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, and climate tech innovations
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market readiness
- Conduct competitive intelligence and market research to inform technology investment decisions
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions through agile development cycles
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with clear ROI projections and risk assessments
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate emerging technologies into core products and services
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of breakthrough technologies to ensure responsible innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or future-tech research
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, advanced AI, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating technological trends into business value
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy (e.g., CTO Academy, Singularity University)
