Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 industry forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging tech disruptions and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external investors
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with measurable ROI tracking
- Mentor a team of 12 technologists and futurists
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT, NASA, and other innovation hubs
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in executive leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, or sustainable tech
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience securing federal grants for R&D projects
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (CFP) or equivalent
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
