Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies and disruptive innovations with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Collaborate with R&D teams to accelerate prototyping and pilot implementation of breakthrough technologies
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory implications of emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and measure ROI of innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Knowledge of technology forecasting methodologies and patent landscape analysis
- Experience working in cross-functional, global teams across multiple time zones
