Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026 technology horizons, including quantum algorithm development and AI-human symbiosis frameworks
- Develop strategic implementation roadmaps for emerging technologies (e.g., neuromorphic chips, decentralized identity systems)
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with quarterly ROI tracking and pivots
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaboration with academic institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, biotech, AI ethics, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech ROI forecasting
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive experience
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
