Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and emerging trends
- Analyze emerging tech paradigms (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R labs to incubate 2026-viable innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts affecting technology adoption timelines
- Author thought leadership papers on industry disruption vectors
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial roadmaps
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Published thought leadership in technology or strategy publications
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
