Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Present strategic technology insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and manage a network of industry experts, researchers, and innovation partners
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across product development and operational functions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, sustainable tech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi analysis, scenario planning)
