Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for AI/quantum convergence, blockchain ecosystems, and neuro-interface systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints with MIT/Stanford partnerships to prototype 2026-viable technologies
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough innovations in sustainable computing and adaptive neural networks
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board of directors securing $50M+ annual R&D budgets
- Establish industry consortium standards for ethical AI deployment and quantum-safe infrastructure
- Mentor PhD fellows in emerging tech commercialization pathways
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of strategic tech leadership
- Proven track record commercializing at least two emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Expertise in forecasting tech adoption curves and regulatory landscapes through 2030
- Prior experience securing $10M+ in federal grants or venture capital for frontier tech
- Published research in Nature/Science on scalable quantum systems or AGI alignment
- Deep familiarity with ISO 26000 and IEEE 7000 standards for ethical tech development
