Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology) for commercial viability and market disruption potential
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with industry 4.0 and sustainable development goals
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Partner with venture capital firms to scout and acquire next-gen startups
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite with ROI projections and risk mitigation frameworks
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for AI and autonomous systems
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-machine collaboration
Qualifications
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- 7+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of implementing emerging technologies in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex technological ecosystems
- Certified in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE) or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
