Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability
- Design innovation frameworks for R&D pipeline and cross-functional prototyping initiatives
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board with data-driven forecasts and competitive analysis
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor high-potential teams in future-proofing methodologies and agile innovation
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and technology pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Masters/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies with published thought leadership
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation
- Strong financial modeling skills for technology ROI analysis
- Exceptional communication skills for executive stakeholder management
- Certification in Innovation Management or Technology Strategy preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year technology forecasting
