Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology innovation strategy aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and sustainable tech adoption
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of emerging technologies (2026+ focus)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps and investment proposals to executive stakeholders
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing architectures and ethical tech implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record in launching transformative tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/sustainable tech/neurotech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in emerging technologies or innovation management preferred
