- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, Web3) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Develop patentable IP portfolios and publish thought leadership in top-tier journals
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems
- Mentor junior strategists and build external partnerships with academic institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record launching commercialized technologies with >$100M impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Strong financial modeling and ROI analysis capabilities
- Experience scaling global tech teams across 3+ continents
