Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) into product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and design teams to prototype future solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to co-develop next-gen capabilities
- Present technology visions to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Anticipate societal and regulatory implications of emerging technologies through horizon scanning
- Mentor a high-performing innovation lab focused on 2026+ technology adoption pathways
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI, or sustainable tech
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience securing $5M+ budgets for experimental technology initiatives
