Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, advanced AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize 2026-aligned innovation opportunities
- Conduct horizon scanning and technology forecasting through competitive analysis and academic partnerships
- Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business cases for executive stakeholders
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms, research institutions, and regulatory bodies
- Define KPIs and success metrics for future technology adoption and ROI
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.)
- Experience developing technology roadmaps with 5+ year horizons
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated success influencing C-suite decisions through data-driven recommendations
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (startups, academia, VCs)
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
