Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI governance)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and ethics teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption curves
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI implementation
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor a team of future technology analysts
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI ethics)
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting journals
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with focus on future systems
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, WFS)
- Portfolio of implemented strategic technology initiatives
