Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruptors and regulatory frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and DARPA-funded projects
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with potential to redefine industry standards
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $15M annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough AI and biotech applications
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/bio)
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for AI ethics and quantum encryption
- Published research in Nature or IEEE journals on future technologies
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Q#)
- Experience with federated learning and decentralized AI architectures
