Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate-positive innovations
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Translate market trends into product requirements for future-facing solutions
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Present technology strategies to executive stakeholders and investors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AR/VR, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products from concept to market
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing federal/state grants for R&D initiatives
- Deep understanding of technology ethics frameworks and ESG compliance
- Prior experience building and scaling innovation labs or skunkworks projects
