Responsibilities
Conduct deep-dive research and analysis of emerging technology trends, including AI, quantum computing, and biotech, specifically forecasting their impact by 2026.Develop and articulate a compelling long-term technology vision and strategic roadmap that aligns with the company’s growth objectives.Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies to create innovative solutions that drive competitive advantage.Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive leadership to prioritize initiatives based on feasibility and strategic value.Monitor the competitive landscape to anticipate market shifts and emerging threats.Present complex strategic concepts to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.Lead cross-functional workshops to foster a culture of innovation and forward-thinking within the organization.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in technology strategy, product management, or futurism within a major tech organization.Proven track record of identifying disruptive technologies and successfully integrating them into business strategies.Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data from diverse sources into actionable insights.Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on long-term planning.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior leadership.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Familiarity with emerging tech frameworks, such as the Gartner Hype Cycle or similar trend analysis models.
