Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging domains including quantum AI integration and carbon-neutral cloud infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, startups, and Fortune 500 companies for collaborative R&D
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present technology strategy to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven recommendations
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling business cases and ROI projections
- Mentor junior strategists and publish thought leadership in industry publications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or sustainable tech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies with >$100M market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants and venture capital funding
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strategic planning frameworks
- Prior experience leading global teams across 3+ time zones
- Published research or patents in technology innovation (IEEE, ACM, or equivalent)
