Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging tech solutions (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-backed insights
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget, allocating resources to high-impact R&D initiatives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for collaborative innovation
- Drive ethical frameworks for future technologies ensuring responsible deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech leadership with proven experience in emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, neurotech, or climate tech
- Track record of launching innovative products with measurable market impact
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic research communities
- Experience managing large-scale R&D budgets and cross-functional global teams
