Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech, metaverse) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Anticipate ethical and societal implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record forecasting and capitalizing on emerging tech trends
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/metaverse)
- Executive-level communication with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments
