- Direct cross-functional R&D initiatives, managing $5M+ annual innovation budgets
- Build strategic partnerships with global tech ecosystems, universities, and government innovation labs
- Present future tech roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies and design thinking frameworks
- Monitor regulatory shifts and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology leadership with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Deep expertise in regulatory landscapes for disruptive technologies (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Executive presence with successful $100M+ project delivery experience
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future studies
- Fluency in tech scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
