Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps spanning 2024-2026 with quarterly validation cycles
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Establish KPI frameworks for future-tech adoption and ROI measurement
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with vendor/partner ecosystem oversight
- Publish thought leadership in industry whitepapers and conference keynotes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 scale
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercially successful future-tech products
- MBA or MS in Computer Science/Engineering/Technology Innovation
- Experience with patent strategy and IP portfolio development
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Strong network with academic research institutions and venture capital
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management
