Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with quantifiable KPIs
- Lead market research and competitive analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Champion innovation through cross-functional R&D partnerships and startup incubations
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee technology adoption pilots and measure ROI on futuristic initiatives
- Build and lead a specialized futurist team of 8-12 professionals
- Represent company at global tech summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Deep expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP) preferred
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
