Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with global sustainability goals and quantum computing advancements
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast AI/ML, blockchain, and biotech convergence points
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis solutions
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen interfaces (neural, AR/VR, haptic)
- Analyze regulatory landscapes and geopolitical tech policies affecting 2026+ deployments
- Create strategic briefs for C-suite on emerging tech investment opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and technology horizon scanning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or emerging tech startups
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique)
- Portfolio demonstrating tech ecosystem modeling and disruption analysis
- Experience navigating international tech policy frameworks (UN, OECD, etc.)
- Fluency in at least one technical programming language (Python, R, etc.)
