Responsibilities
- Define the Technical Vision: Lead the strategic roadmap for technologies relevant to the 2026 timeframe, including AI, Quantum computing, and advanced AR/VR integration.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee research initiatives and prototype development to validate new technologies before full-scale deployment.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor senior engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate high-level business goals into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Scalability Strategy: Architect systems that are not only future-proof but also scalable and resilient in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external technology partners and research institutions to stay ahead of industry trends.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, system architecture, or R&D leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Quantum Computing principles.
- Education: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
- Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to anticipate market trends and translate them into long-term technical strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Tools: Proficiency with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and orchestration tools.
