Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum AI integration, carbon-negative blockchain, and neural interface systems
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and national innovation goals
- Secure $5M+ in federal/state grants for future-tech incubation programs
- Mentor a team of 12 PhD researchers and startup founders
- Present breakthrough concepts at Davos, SXSW Future, and IEEE Global Tech Summits
- Establish industry standards for ethical AI deployment in 2026+ ecosystems
- Partner with Tesla, NASA, and WHO on next-gen sustainability frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Future Systems Design with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling tech from concept to $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains: neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, ACM)
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF, DoE) and managing $10M+ budgets
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Portfolio of deployed innovations with measurable societal impact
