Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in developing prototype solutions for 2026 market needs
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, bio-digital interfaces, etc.) for commercial viability
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive ethical technology governance frameworks
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget across 3-5 concurrent projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record delivering at least 3 commercialized innovations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, neurotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strategic planning certification (e.g., CTO School, Tech Strategy Institute)
- Published research or patents in future technologies
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 50+ members
- Exceptional stakeholder management across global organizations
