Responsibilities
- Architect and execute innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 technology horizons
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation with long-term business strategy
- Manage a $5M+ annual innovation portfolio with measurable ROI targets
- Build and mentor a diverse team of futurists, engineers, and product strategists
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies through market analysis and pilot programs
- Present innovation blueprints to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record scaling disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation management
- Strong background in agile methodologies and cross-functional team leadership
- Experience securing government grants or venture capital for tech ventures
