Role Overview:
The Future Systems Architect will be responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of our strategic technology roadmap. You will bridge the gap between theoretical innovation and practical deployment, ensuring our systems are resilient, scalable, and future-proof.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Define the long-term architectural vision for the 2026 Horizon Initiative, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends.
- System Design: Design complex, distributed systems using microservices and serverless architectures to support high-velocity growth.
- Technology Leadership: Evaluate and select emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven infrastructure, Edge Computing) and integrate them into our existing ecosystem.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Lead technical teams in code reviews, architecture reviews, and mentor junior developers to foster a culture of excellence.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols and ensure full compliance with US data protection regulations.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and drive initiatives to reduce latency and improve resource efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and orchestration.
- Programming: Proficiency in high-level languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- AI/ML: Experience integrating AI/ML models into production infrastructure.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- US Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
