Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for 200+ endpoints across federal networks
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Execute vulnerability scans and patch management cyclesDocument incident response procedures and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security audits
- Train end-users on secure computing practices
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (biweekly)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive government data with confidentiality
- US citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) preferred
