Responsibilities
- Provide rapid assessment and intervention for emergency patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize critical cases
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely
- Maintain emergency equipment and supply inventory
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue responses
Qualifications
- Current Kansas RN license
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates considered with experience)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- EMR/EHR proficiency
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
