Responsibilities
- Provide critical care assessment and intervention in high-pressure emergency scenarios
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure rapid patient stabilization
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols
- Document patient encounters with precision in Epic EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and OSHA standards
- Participate in trauma activations and code blue responses
- Mentor new nursing staff during orientation periods
Qualifications
- Active PA RN license with BLS/ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ER or critical care experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proficiency in triage protocols and rapid assessment techniques
- Ability to remain calm and decisive during emergency situations
- Strong communication skills for patient/family interactions
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
