Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Strategic Roadmap: Lead the long-term vision for Horizon Future Labs, identifying key technological milestones and strategic pivots required to lead the market by 2026.
- Oversee High-End R&D: Direct and mentor teams focused on cutting-edge technologies, including AI, Quantum Readiness, and Sustainable Tech, ensuring feasibility and market impact.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with C-suite executives, investors, and industry thought leaders to communicate the 2026 vision and secure buy-in for ambitious projects.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Bridge the gap between engineering, product management, and marketing to ensure a cohesive execution of the future technology strategy.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Build and lead a world-class team of futurists and engineers capable of navigating the complexities of emerging tech.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a Director or VP-level role managing long-term strategic roadmaps.
- Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of emerging tech trends relevant to the 2026 timeframe, including Generative AI, Web3, and Advanced Robotics.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and high-level investors.
- Proven Track Record: A history of delivering transformative projects and driving significant growth for previous organizations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
