What You'll Do:
As the Director for Project 2026, you will own the technical roadmap and lead a world-class engineering team. You will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade deployment.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Define the end-to-end technical vision and strategy for Project 2026, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and retain top-tier talent, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of all deployed systems and data pipelines.
- R&D Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists and researchers to translate theoretical models into scalable software solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and secure executive buy-in for major initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Establish and enforce engineering best practices, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in machine learning, distributed systems, and high-performance computing (HPC).
- Tools: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust, with experience in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with innovative technical solutions.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
