Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and sort packages efficiently and accurately using hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Inspect shipments for damages and report any discrepancies to the shift lead immediately.
- Process and scan incoming and outgoing inventory using handheld scanners.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Follow strict safety protocols and company policies regarding hazardous materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Long Island City facility.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
