Responsibilities
- Lead research in generative AI and quantum machine learning for 2026-era applications
- Design and implement novel neural architectures with 10x efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design AI-optimized quantum processors
- Publish 3+ papers annually at NeurIPS, ICML, or Nature AI
- Mentor a team of 5 PhD researchers in cross-disciplinary innovation
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants annually
- Develop ethical frameworks for AGI deployment in regulated industries
Qualifications
- PhD in AI/ML from top 10 university with 5+ years industry experience
- Published 15+ peer-reviewed papers in AI/quantum computing
- Expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow Quantum, and Qiskit frameworks
- Proven track record of shipping production-scale ML systems
- Deep knowledge of transformer architectures and quantum algorithms
- Experience with federated learning and differential privacy
- Strong background in computational neuroscience and human cognition
