Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum-enhanced machine learning architectures
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping 2026-era AI systems
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making algorithms
- Secure $1M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum-AI convergence projects
- Collaborate with NASA and DARPA on space-exploration AI systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/Physics or equivalent with quantum computing focus
- 5+ years developing production-grade neural networks at scale
- Published research in quantum machine learning or similar field
- Expertise in TensorFlow Quantum, Cirq, or equivalent frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, and quantum circuit design
- Experience securing federal research grants (SBIR, NSF)
- Portfolio demonstrating deployment of AI systems in critical infrastructure
