Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive AI governance frameworks aligned with global ethical standards and 2026 regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate closely with machine learning engineers and product managers to integrate ethical considerations into the development lifecycle.
- Advocate for responsible AI practices, ensuring transparency and fairness across all Nexus Horizon products.
- Monitor emerging global policies, legal trends, and industry best practices related to data privacy and autonomous systems.
- Engage with policymakers, industry bodies, and stakeholders to influence the conversation on AI ethics and regulation.
- Conduct rigorous impact assessments for new AI models to identify and mitigate potential societal risks.
- Lead internal training and workshops to foster a culture of ethical innovation and awareness among technical staff.
Qualifications
- Master’s or JD degree in Law, Public Policy, Computer Science, Ethics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tech policy, regulatory affairs, or AI ethics consulting.
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, neural networks, and natural language processing.
- Proven track record of translating complex legal and ethical concepts into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and innovative environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in a second language is a plus.
