Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving global regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning pipelines
- Develop stakeholder engagement protocols for transparent AI decision-making
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees with engineers, legal, and product teams
- Create impact assessments for high-stakes AI applications in healthcare and finance
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in industry forums and regulatory discussions
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI/ML development with demonstrated ethics implementation experience
- Expertise in fairness metrics, adversarial testing, and bias mitigation techniques
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US Executive Orders)
- Strong background in philosophical ethics frameworks (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics)
- Experience with stakeholder communication and public policy advocacy
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE, EU AI Act certification)
