Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional ethics audits of ML models and data pipelines
- Develop compliance strategies for emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST frameworks)
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical design principles
- Establish stakeholder engagement protocols for AI transparency initiatives
- Drive research on bias mitigation and algorithmic accountability
- Represent Nexus in industry coalitions on AI policy development
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Proven expertise in implementing ethical AI frameworks in commercial products
- Deep knowledge of global AI regulatory landscapes and compliance requirements
- Experience leading technical teams through complex ethical dilemmas
- Published research on AI fairness, accountability, or transparency
- Strong background in ML model validation and bias detection methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
