Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology forecasting and scenario planning for 2026 market landscape
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, blockchain, and quantum computing
- Direct cross-functional R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budgets
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI, and NASA JPL
- Develop patent portfolios for emerging technologies
- Present tech trend briefings to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's Tech Accelerator Program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurist/innovation roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Deep expertise in AI ethics, quantum algorithms, and climate tech
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (ACF) or Technology Roadmapping
- Experience securing SBIR grants and DARPA partnerships
