Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) with 2026 commercialization horizons
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating breakthrough innovations into enterprise ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' prototyping sessions with engineering and product teams
- Author white papers and thought leadership for industry conferences and investor briefings
- Identify disruptive threats and opportunities through patent analysis and academic research
- Advise C-suite on technology adoption timelines and resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record of predicting tech trends (demonstrated via patents or publications)
- Expertise in at least two domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotechnology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio showcasing 2020-2025 technology predictions with documented outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
