- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and societal needs
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and spatial computing
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies for strategic acquisition or development
- Present futuristic frameworks to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Establish innovation metrics to measure technological readiness and adoption curves
- Mentor a team of 15+ futurists and domain specialists
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling technology proposals
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 10+ years experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on emerging technologies
- Proven track record in launching technologies with 5+ year adoption cycles
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, AGI safety protocols, and ethical AI frameworks
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Experience securing government/private innovation grants ($2M+)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global collaboration
