Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead workshops with C-suite executives on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces on disruptive tech trends
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-focused innovations into development cycles
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Build an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of forecasting market disruptions (include case studies)
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate-tech
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization skills
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology roadmap implementations
