Responsibilities
- Develop 10-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging tech breakthroughs (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational capabilities with 2026 market demands
- Author forward-looking whitepapers on societal impacts of automation and biotechnology
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify disruptive startups in pre-2030 space
- Design resilience protocols for climate-altered infrastructure scenarios
- Mentor next-gen technologists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related discipline
- 7+ years experience in tech strategy consulting or corporate innovation
- Published research on singularity economics or human-AI collaboration frameworks
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Deep understanding of geopolitical tech governance (UN AI Advisory Body experience preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful prediction of market shifts (2015-2023)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from WFS or equivalent
