Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with $5M+ annual budgets
- Present strategic frameworks to Fortune 500 partners and government agencies
- Identify emerging tech disruptions and develop mitigation/opportunity strategies
- Mentor innovation teams through agile development sprints
- Secure patents for proprietary methodologies and systems
- Report directly to Chief Innovation Officer on KPI progress
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record launching products with >$100M ARR impact
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, generative AI, or neurotech
- Harvard/MIT/Stanford PhD or equivalent industry breakthroughs
- Published thought leadership in Nature/Science/IEEE journals
- Fluency in Python, C++, and strategic modeling frameworks
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DOE/NASA clearances
