Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technological, economic, and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend synthesis
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and disruption vectors
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for alternative futures and risk mitigation
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into innovation pipelines and patent strategies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with quantitative and qualitative forecasts
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, Economics, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives implemented based on future forecasting
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
